It seems like everyone you know writes to a blog. It also seems like everyone except for you know the secret “How To Get Traffic To Your Blog“. How To Increase Traffic To Your Blog In 30 Days (Part One)

1. Choose a blog service that is best for you. If this is your first time blogging and you don’t know too much about customizations and things like this or if you are just looking for a simple place to write, I would suggest using Blogger.com or Wordpress.com. These two services provide very simple and easy ways to create, design, maintain, and write to.
2. Have a feel for what you are going to be writing about. Keeping this in mind, write down on paper 5 keyword terms that would best describe what you are going to write about. (i.e. increasing blog traffic, increasing traffic to your blog, how to increase traffic to your blog, tips on increasing traffic, tips on increasing traffic to your blog.) Remember, write these keyword terms down on paper, you are going to refer back to them later.
   * Choose keyword terms that consist of three or more words as a group (It is better to choose “increasing blog traffic” instead of “blog traffic”).
3. Summarize what you will be writing about in 15 words or less. (i.e. Learn how to increase traffic to your blog. Read article that teach you different methods for increasing traffic to your blog in 30 days.) Write down this summarizing and label it as your blog description. Do write this down, because you will be referring back to it a lot.
4. Give your site a name. Write down the name you want to call your blog.
5. Your name of your blog should be the most accurate representation of your keyword terms. (i.e. Blog Traffic Tips).
6. Title should be one of your keyword terms, your keyword terms should also be found in your description.
7. If your blog service allows for category creation, create categories using two words that describe each aspect of what you will be writing about. (i.e. Traffic Tips, Blog Optimization).
