Cartoons For The SEO Professional

Here is a pretty cool blog site that I just discovered. It is called, SEOTOONS.com. The site is described as, Cartoons For The SEO Professional. From what I can see, the site has been online since February 12th, 2006 with the first publication being released titled, “SEO Multi-Millionaires!“. Since that time, there has been a total of ten posts on the site. From what I can tell, the site is very new and not very active at all. The GooglePage Rank is a PR2, but from what I can tell, Google hasn’t recorded a single backward link to the site. Hopefully GarryConn.com will be the first site to provide a backward link to SEOTOONS.com, because being the first to link back to someone new… if you think about it… is really a very ideal and easy way to market your own site.

After reading the ten cartoons it seems that the author has taken clips from some popular comics commonly found in your local newspaper and removed the original text and replaced it with his own SEO story… it’s actually quite funny! And I felt it was worth a mention here. Now I admit that the site is very unique … but I am not endorsing his activity in using copyright protected material and art for use of his own… that might not be legal, but I am a blogger and not a lawyer, so what do I know. All I know, is the site is pretty funny. The concept is pretty unique, and I hope to see this site grow. If the author plays his cards right, he might have himself a money maker. Only time will tell, and my immediate suggestion would for him to draw his own cartoons, or hire an artist to do it for him. The idea and concept of what he is doing, is totally great!

Maybe with this review of the site, the author will catch wind of it by way of pingbacks and new backwards links. I am hoping to motivate the author and encourage him to continue out with his ideas. Here is a list of the ten comics the author has made available on the site:

Again, what I like most about this site is the fact that it is different. I think it has a ton of potential to become a successful blog site. There are a few things that I personally would do differently, such as drawing unique cartoons, but overall I like the idea for a blog and want to encourage others to visit and maybe it might spark a few ideas for yourself.
